The Integrity of God's Standards

In this message, Alan Taylor teaches on trusting God instead of trying to force outcomes. He says believers often look for visible proof, but faith keeps its eyes on God alone. He also says that many problems in the church come from relying on human ability in the name of God. Alan reflects on false advertising in ministry and says people should not promise what they cannot prove. He uses healing meetings as an example and says integrity matters because once trust is broken, a person is no longer a voice in someone’s life. He says it is better to be honest about where someone is spiritually than to pretend they are somewhere they are not. He turns to Romans 12:2–3 and teaches that there are levels of God’s will: good, acceptable, and perfect. He says each believer receives a measure of faith to fulfill a specific calling, and that all parts of the body matter. Alan contrasts the measure of faith with the “more excellent way” of 1 Corinthians 13. He says chapter 12 describes gifts tied to calling, while chapter 13 points to agape love as the greater path. He teaches that the goal is not simply power or ministry success, but becoming someone through whom God can work in a fuller way.
