God See's You
About
In today’s sermon, Pastor Alan teaches on the work of the Holy Spirit in the inner man. He says the goal is not mainly an outside experience, but a real inward change through prayer in tongues, the Word, and learning to hear God from within.
He begins by speaking about church life, family, and the value of fellowship, but quickly moves to the importance of listening to God rather than relying only on church systems or outward direction. He says the Holy Spirit abides in believers forever and works differently in those who are born again.
He explains that many Christians look for repeated experiences, dramatic moments, or outside confirmation, but that the deeper work of God happens on the inside. Prayer in the Spirit, he says, establishes God’s will within a person and helps guide decisions without panic or pressure.
He shares examples from his own life, including choosing not to take an opportunity in Vancouver, and later walking through a stroke. He says God does not view struggle as failure and that believers should keep moving forward even while they are weak.
Pastor Alan also teaches from 2 Timothy 2:20–21, saying believers become vessels of honor by allowing God to change their inner nature, not merely by cleaning up outward behavior.
