Family Prayer Centre (“we”) respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect on our website, why we use it, and how you can ask us about it.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run events, send church emails you asked for, and answer messages you send us. That usually means your name, email address, and (for some events) guest details. If you use a contact form, we also receive your message. We may use limited security data (such as a temporary IP check) to reduce spam and abuse. For some church emails, we may record whether a message was opened or a link was clicked so we can improve our communications.

Why we use it

We use your information to manage event registration, send confirmations and related updates, run our mailing list when you opt in, respond to inquiries, and keep our systems safe. We do not sell your personal information.

Who helps us

Trusted service providers help us operate the site: for example, Google Workspace for email, Zoom for some online meetings, and Podbean for sermon audio. They only receive what is needed for that service.

How long we keep it

• Unconfirmed event sign-ups are cleared quickly (about 48 hours).
• Confirmed event rosters are removed about 30 days after the event ends.
• Temporary event mailing lists are cleared within about 48 hours after the event.
• General mailing-list details stay until you unsubscribe.
• After you unsubscribe, we keep a simple “do not email” record so we do not message you again by mistake.
• Email open/click history is kept for a limited time (about 18 months), then removed.
• Contact-form messages live in our church email inbox only as long as needed to help you.
• Internal security logs are cleared on about a 90-day cycle.

Your choices

You can cancel an event registration using the link in your confirmation email. Mass emails include an unsubscribe link. To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to remove it, email us at the address below. Our team handles those requests through WordPress privacy tools (export and erase).
