He is Pleased
About
Deborah reads Hebrews 6:10 and says that the local group’s labor, service, and practical help have not gone unnoticed by God. She emphasizes that even small acts of service, prayer, and hospitality carry eternal weight and are part of what God is doing.
Using Colossians 2:1-7, she says that those who are present and those who are at home are still joined together in spirit. She explains that God is strategically knitting the group together, and that everyone has a place in the body even when they are not physically together.
From Colossians 1:9-14 and Proverbs 8, she teaches that believers need the knowledge of God’s will and the wisdom that comes through the Holy Ghost. She contrasts wisdom with the flesh, saying that wisdom speaks truth, brings discernment, and offers lasting riches.
Using Ephesians 4:11-16, she says every believer has a part in the body and must be trained by the Holy Ghost to walk in that calling. She encourages the group to keep praying in the Spirit, keep growing, and let God make each person fit where they belong.
