These "light" Afflictions!

In this message, Deborah teaches on “momentary light affliction” from 2 Corinthians 4. Deborah then turns to 2 Corinthians 3 and James 1 to show that believers are changed by looking at the Lord rather than at visible circumstances. She describes joy as an inward calm delight, not merely outward emotion. She says trials test faith, produce patience, and can lead to maturity when a person asks God for wisdom and does not waver. She closes by urging us to keep praying, worshiping, fasting, and continuing in the Word and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. She says the goal is to be changed into the image of Jesus and not to quit under pressure.
